Sweden's most beautiful workplace is looking for two Personnel Planners based in Norrköping, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, or as agreed.

Development and Training Unit

The Swedish Maritime Administration is responsible for safe, accessible, and sustainable shipping. The Business Division carries out a large part of the Authority's operational activities, including pilotage, marine traffic monitoring, hydrographic surveying, production of nautical products, and services for seafarers. The Development and Training Unit within the Business Division has the main task of supporting the rest of the division's operations with project management, readiness coordination, and simulator capacity. We are now looking for two personnel planners to join the unit and contribute to ensuring our socially vital operations run smoothly every day.

Responsibilities

As a Personnel Planner, you play a key role in planning and coordinating operational resources to ensure efficient operations. Your tasks include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning staffing for operational personnel in both the short and long term.
  • Scheduling training, exercises, workplace meetings, and other activities that affect staffing and working hours.
  • Managing holiday planning and, in consultation with managers, granting leave, both short-term and long-term.
  • Ensuring that working time arrangements comply with current agreements and guidelines.
  • Participating in recruitment processes when necessary.
  • Identifying and driving improvement measures to streamline work methods and administrative flows.

Who are you?

We are looking for you who have experience in administrative and personnel-related tasks. You have:

  • A high school diploma.
  • Several years of experience in scheduling and staffing or equivalent tasks.
  • Experience working in personnel administrative support systems.
  • Good computer skills and good knowledge of the Office suite.
  • Very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.

The following qualifications are considered meritorious:

  • Experience in staffing/scheduling in an operational 24/7 environment.
  • Experience working within a government authority or public sector operations.
  • Understanding of collective agreements and personnel administrative regulations.
  • Experience in the shipping industry.

How and when?

This recruitment is for two permanent positions expected to be filled as agreed.

Interviews will be held in weeks 33 and 34.

The Swedish Maritime Administration may apply a six-month probationary period.

The position may involve wartime assignment at the Swedish Maritime Administration.

The position may require Swedish citizenship. Security clearance with register check may be conducted before an employment offer is made.
